The network diagram has all the protocols, networks and addresses listed on it. This network will have IP, IPX, Appletalk RTMP/EIGRP, IP IGRP, IPX RIP/EIGRP, and an IP Extended access-list. See the Scenario (below) for full details. Audience This exercise is geared toward those people working toward their CCNA certification, and those who have little or no router experience. Getting started Print out the network diagram; review the scenario, adding the missing information. Required equipment 2 routers with 1 serial and one ethernet interface 1 DTE cable 1 DCE cable Or one DCE/DTE cross over cable And 1 Auxiliary/Console Port Cable Kit (Part no. ACS-2500ASYN), or equivalent. Scenario Physical layer Physical layer - Establish a 64KB serial connection between R1 and R2, using the default encapsulation type (HDLC). * You will need one DTE and DCE cable, or a back to back cable designed for this purpose.
