21st century,一个充满机遇、充满变革的时代；21st century，一个人才竞争、经济全球化的时代。面对机遇和挑战，我们如何开拓自己的成才之路？

信息，靠语言传递；思想靠语言融合。生活在改革开发风雷激荡时代的研究生，只有在英语学习的征战中刻苦奋斗，才能在经济全球化的浪潮中乘风逐浪，在知识的海洋中纵横捭阖，在学术科研的征途上一路顺风、凯歌猛进，谱写一曲曲卓越绚丽的理论乐章。

让我们于林荫小路中读英语，于亭台楼阁间听英语，同学、舍友间说英语。用英语获取知识，抒发情感，交流思想。让英语成为生活中的一部分，让英语成为一种得心应手的工具，让英语成为习惯，让英语成为一种能力。

清晨，因英语而欢欣激越！生活，因英语而丰富多彩！

水滴石穿、绳锯木断，点滴积累是攀登英语高峰的台阶！不懈追求，是勇闯英语难关的航标！

从今天做起，让我们用执着和毅力作笔，以青春和岁月为纸，共同写下塑造国际化英语人才的篇章！

Full of barrier on academic research way,

but easier to get through with English as a tool

——a proposal for graduate students to improve English

21st century is an era of changes and challenges, an age of competition and globalization. Facing with both opportunities and challenges, how will you design your future to succeed in 21st century?

Language is a tool to exchange our information and ideas, a tool to share our thoughts and spirit and a tool to increase our feelings and unite our hearts. Living in an era of reform and opening, we graduate students should struggle through the battle of English so that we can stand a chance during the tide of globalization, stand out in the palace of knowledge and, gallop freely on our academic research way and compose music of theory with excellence and floweriness .

Let’s practise reading in shadowy footpath , practise listening in brisk and pavilion and practise speaking in our dorm. Let’s use English to obtain knowledge , to express feelings and to exchange thoughts. Let English be part of our life, a handy skill, and finally a habit and capacity.

English will make us delighted and joyful in the morning, and our life will be rich and colorful as we learn English .

Constant dropping wears away a stone, constant working improves our capacity, and constant hankering helps us to get over all problems in English.

Start from now on, with our perseverance and willpower as pen, our youth and time as paper , we can write the most gorgeous words in our English learning.
